Hidden Histories

Another listener at Node 07. Some people did seem to get quite into it and the feedback was quite overwhelmingly positive.

The three ladies in this image either work for Southampton City Council heritage services or support the OHU as a volunteer. They took their time to listen into each node and apparently enjoyed it.

The box in the image is node 07 and it plays stories about food of the poor and aspects of domestic life. For some reason this node has one of the best receptions, acoustically speaking -- it can be heard clearly from quite far away.

Radios of this type were available for hire at the launch. They are still available through the tourist office where you also get a map and a feedback form.
