At the Capacete residency where we stay I just met Rubens Pileggi, a writer and artist on technology and media who made this work about a riot in Londrina about ruthless practices in public transport. The bus fares also in Rio are extraordinarily high, considering local wages. In this video a scene is recreated about a local young man who was killed by a bus. This triggered protests about sharp practices in general. Most of public transport is actually delivered by private companies.
