Site maintainance and upgrade

Dear Users,

I am starting an urgently necessary upgrade of thenextlayer.org
Until now we have been running on drupal version 5.3 which is not properly maintained anymore and creates security risks. We will make a BIG upgrade to version 6.2 which has new functions and features but also bears the risk that things can go wrong during such an upgrade. Therefore I would like to ask for your patience.

During the upgrade I have to temporarily disable the site for public viewing. Please do not attempt to upload new content. you will also see the design of the site temporarily change as I switch to a different theme which is necessary during an upgrade.

If all goes well thenextlayer.org will be back soon, better, with added functionality and features and more secure.
