only now

have I had chance to read this interview and must say it is quite interesting. so on some of those questions she raises, it would be good to ask further questions, in particular this re-assessment of the global city 2.0.

saskia

thanks capprich

i recently borrowed sassken's global betworks, linked cities book, so when i am up to looking at that book i will read your interview first as a prelude .. right now i am having trouble keeping my focus on the chapter i am redrafting..

but one of the books i borrowed for that and havent opened yet is one u have mentioned elsewhere..McKay, G. (ed.) 1998, DiY Culture: Party & Protest in Nineties Britain, Verso, London, as i am writing a tiny bit about early Brit punk...right now i am reading a fascinating book called Shibboleth, my revolting life, by Penny rimbaud from Crass..it's a great account of British anarcho-punk history, the effect on revitalising the CND movement, and generally on DIY...i really wish i had been to some Crass gigs..so much more than just music..!

cheers to all
